For my undergraduate studies, I worked on a project with Thaddeus Zarse, an architect and educator at UIC, focusing on developing a house design concept with an emphasis on form and visually engaging drawings. The project explored how geometry and spatial composition could create a strong architectural statement. Through expressive drawings, I highlighted the relationship between structure, space, and aesthetics. Zarse’s approach encouraged studying architectural elements, like corners, to understand their impact on both the functionality and visual experience of a design. This project was also selected for the year-end show, showcasing its design concept and visual impact.
