"My sculptures explore the relationship between human anatomy and natural objects. By combining these in new ways, I created metaphors and challenged the viewer to see two things simultaneously. I found that clay was a perfect medium in which to sculpt, because with it, I could create a convincing level of realism to draw my viewer in."
